The Paid Promotion Weekly Wrap Up December 19, 2021
I want to welcome the new paid and free subscribers that have joined this week. These Saturday or Sunday postings will be a free weekly series that will catch you up on recent paid promotions ran during the week, news and stock performance from prior paid promotions. I plan to write more about trends, the different players involved, and deeper analysis of the targeted companies from the paid stock promotions. Any comments or feedback is appreciated.
Paid Stock Promotions over the last 90 days:
We added KULR Technology Group $KULR, Healthcare Triangle Inc $HCTI, FSD Pharma $HUGE, and another round of promotion in BioSig Technologies $BSGM this week to the paid promotion newsletter. My writeup was published on December 16, covering the promotions in detail. Over $140,000 was spent on paid stock promotions last week. It is probably a good idea for shareholders to start asking and holding management accountable if they are directing funds to these paid promotions and what kind of return they are getting for the dollars spent. Another good question to ask, “Do you know your company is being subject to a paid promotion?”
The $HUGE promotion was a total failure for the week with the stock closing down 12%. $KULR barely made an impact with their promotion with the stock closing up 1%. $HCTI sold off and closed down 20% for the week. $BSGM actually did fairly well and closed up 10% after the promotion was ran.
The prior weeks promotions in $USAU continues to get sold off down 17% for the week. $CTXR was down another 10%. $HOTH was down 5.5%. $MYNZ was off 9%.
I was hoping to publish my coverage on the most aggressive paid promotion I have been tracking in $MSYN Ms Young Adventure Enterprise this week as my first short trade idea. The writeup would have been my first public short writeup published in years. The paid promotion sent shares from under $5.00 all the way up to over $18.00 in a months time with a market cap over $120M. It finally crashed back to Earth on Thursday and Friday closing at $4.10. I really wish that I was able to locate a borrow to short the stock, but I couldn’t.
I really enjoy the 20 page short or long biased presentations on a thesis, but I prefer to find the real dregs of the market, which only take a few paragraphs to explain why a company is a great short or long. Based on the company’s most recent 10Q it is nothing more than a shell with zero cash on the balance sheet, a promissory note on October 1, 2021 for $8,085 with an unrelated party, and a website to sign up for an upcoming beta test for VPN software at www.forceshieldvpn.com. An easy guess is a lot of the trading was matched, spoofed, or washed among a few controlling parties for the last month. It would be nice if the SEC had a more watchful eye on these types of promotions.
